Cant Install Microsoft Teams

So I upgraded to Windows 11 and was trying to get the chat feature on the taskbar to work. It kept saying "We ran into an issue..." So I tried uninstalling Teams and reinstalling it. When I try to reinstall I am getting an error that says "Installation has failed: There was an error while installing the application. Check the setup log for more information and contact the author."

I am not real good at knowing what to look for in the Setup Log so if anyone could help me out maybe I could send it to be looked at. I am pretty sure there is some type of registry error going on that I do not know how to fix.

I have tried to import previous registry saves but the PC is not allowing me to for some reason. I have checked all security measures for the registry ownership and the folders where the registry saves are located but still no luck.

    @SpitFire ,

    You can try this by using the Registry Editor.

    Start --> Run --> regedit.exe

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Teams

    Create a new String Value. Name the new file as ‘PreventInstallationFromMsi’ and set the Value data to 1.
