Need to Disable Export PST Option

Question

Hi team,

We are currently configuring Intune in our enterprise and we need to check if there are any possible way to disable Exporting the PST file from Outlook.

Are there any possible way to do it from Intune portal or Script? Modifying the Registry keys are there but we cannot do that for all laptops one by one.

Please share your thoughts on the same.

As I know, there're such as registry to disable Import/Export Option as shown in the below figure:

If it’s what you need, please follow the following steps to change the registry:

1. Select Start, select Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then select OK.
2. Locate and then select the registry subkey:
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\DisabledCmdBarItemsList
3. Check if TCID1 on the right side, if it doesn’t exists, please manually create it.
4. Double click on TCID1 and change the registry entry value to 2577.
   

(Note: Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before making changes, back up the registry to restore it in case something goes wrong.)
