Purview Scan

Question

Hi,

Is there a method to create scan that will scan a Collection in Purview?

I have an environment that has Azure blob storages and AWS S3 buckets.

I would like to find out if I can create a scan that will scan all the containers in my storage accounts in Azure and also same for the S3 buckets in AWS.

Currently I am scanning my blob storages one at a time.

Your assistance here will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

Yes, what has worked for me is if you select scan in a different collection, then in the scan properties page, there is a drop-down for you to select which collection. This will work if your Azure Blob and S3 in the same collection.
