Request help with Azure machine learning workspace

Question

I have enrolled myself in Azure Machine Learning course and the first step there is to create an azure ML workspace with subscription, resource group, region, storage account etc. I am a new joiner and I am doing this for my learning. Not sure which option to select. Is there any guidance or doc to follow? I have checked with my team and they are suggesting to use my personal account to get a demo account and free azure subscription to do the course and not my microsoft credentials. Require assistance in this regard.
