We have created Azure site recovery vault with private endpoint and storage with private end point for the secure replication.
when we tries to configure configuration server on onprem side it fails on validation appliance configuration.
we have followed the below article.

Checking access to service URLs

Message: Validation of endpoint connectivity failed
Possible causes: Connectivity check to required service URLs failed.
Recommendation: Allow all URLs listed at https://aka.ms/asr_CS_prereq for successful configuration.

I Will start with couple of questions to get more clarity on your setup,
Are you using Azure Private Link?
is your Recovery Services vaults empty?

Hi Martins-jackson,
Yes, we are using azure private link on recovery service vault and storage account to secure the storage account fro replication.
yes, Recovery services vault is empty. we have follows the same steps provided on below article.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/hybrid-how-to-enable-replication-private-endpoints

Running into the same issue.I have the same setup.S2S VPN with private endpoints setup and setting up the appliance keeps failing.Have you had any success?

Are your vms resolving the storage account DNS? Or your on-premise Hyper-v?

"When the private endpoint is created, five fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) are added to the private endpoint. These links enable the machines in the on-premises network to access, via the bypass network"

I have the same issue. URL validation failed in OVF setup.

Created Azure migration project with private endpoints and added the five DNS entries in host file of config server so that the nslookup resolve to private IP of the generated DNS name.
