how to decreas VMInsights Log cost ?

thank you for reading .

my log analytics cost 's 90 percent is VMConnection.

so i tried to decrease cost about VMConnection Ingestion .

under ther 3 way i find

1. Table option Change : analytics -> basic // https://learn.microsoft.com/ko-kr/azure/azure-monitor/logs/basic-logs-configure?tabs=cli-1%2Cportal-2
   --- but fail because VMConnection Table was not supported...
2. change ingestion- time transformation //
   • • but fail because VMConnection Table was not supported...
3. Data collection rule change ...
   • but fail because data collection rule just support " performance counter " and "Event-Log"
   i do not need VMConnection.

if you know how to stop only VMConnection Table Ingestion...

please tell me how to do , or tell me keword

If you want to disable the feed you could look to remove the related solutions from the workspace. You might also look at Azure Monitor policies or diagnostic settings related to Service Map or network related diagnostics. I am not certain if there is a way to filter or reduce the volume once VMInsights is enabled.

1. go to "Log Analytics Menu " and Click "Solution" and "VMInsights "

2. select "OverView " and Click "Delete "
