I want to select only Name of the file from Filter Array connection.

I have used compose action .

But im getting error.

Can anyone help me with this?

I want to get only last part of Filename

Hi Vijay,

Thanks for writing to us

if you want to extract only the name then you can substring like below

"@substring(triggerBody()?['Filename'],0,indexOf(triggerBody()?['Filename'],'.'))"

if you want to extract after the . Then it will be like

"@substring(triggerBody()?['Filename'],indexOf(triggerBody()?['Filename'],'.'))"

Hi Vijay,

I saw the Error. Thanks for sending it.
Since you are getting an Array out of Filter array, when you apply the Substring its giving an Error. Do you want to select only the Fist name from the array or all the names present in the array?

Hi Vijay,

try like below

Use the select after your filter array action. give the body of fileter array as input to it and Map the name with the Substrign Function like below

@substring(item()?['FIleName'],0,indexOf(item()?['Filename'],'.'))

Hi @Vijay

Thank you for asking this question on the Microsoft Q&A Platform.

I would suggest to use the condition to check the filename ends with ind and then take your action accordingly, like below screenshot.
