Yammer user profiles not updated from Azure Active Directory.

Hi,

I need some help from Office 365 Azure AD and Yammer. I have already migrated Yammer to Office 365 native mode, however, the Yammer user profiles are not updated from Azure Active Directory.

    Hi @ChrisPo 布錦聲 ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I understand you are looking to sync profile attributes from Azure AD to Yammer.

    The lifecycle for Yammer users can manage through the Microsoft 365 admin center if users have an Office 365 account.

    The Profile attributes synchronization from Azure AD to Yammer may not work in below scenarios:

    If the user is not mapped with the Office 365
    If there are multiple Yammer networks present
    If enforce office 365 is not enabled.
    If the user is not in active state in Yammer
    User has not accessed Yammer recently by going to portal.office.com and clicking on Yammer tile.

    User attributes took approx. 24 hours to get updated with new values. Even after 24 hours it didn't get update then,

    -Blank out the affected user Attributes (Applicable if there are not many users affected) from Azure AD.
    -Wait for attribute to blank out in office 365 and then to yammer (approx. 24 Hours)
    -Once the Profile attribute is blank out in Yammer than update the correct attribute in Azure AD.
    -Now the correct attribute should get sync to Yammer within 24 hours.
    -It takes up to 24-48 hrs to sync the profile picture from Office 365 to yammer

    If case of multiple users are affected and need to sync up attributes immediately, then need to update in Yammer directly as below:

    Login to Yammer as Global or verified Administrator
    Click on the gear icon on left and click on Network admin
    Click on bulk Update users on the left.
    Click on upload CSV & upload the CSV as per the given format.
    If it says success 1 than the Account is updated.
