This is wired that drag and drop option to apps opened in taskbar is not working in windows 11.

Unfortunately, the option has been removed in Windows 11 for security reasons. The alternative to Drag&Drop in the Taskbar would be to:
1.Drag the file
2.While holding the file use the combination Alt+Tab to bring up the opened applications
3.Drop into the Alt+Tab application preview windows

@Limitless Technology What do you mean it has been removed? Has Microsoft addressed why they removed this feature soon after proudly announcing its addition to the community that was asking it for months? Did they just shadow-drop it? Can I read more about this removal and these security issues? Are they planned to be fixed or did they just scrap the feature alltogether?
Yes, I have the same concern. Is it removed temporarily and will be fixed in future updates?
