Hello !

i encountered a problem in one of my VMs, First of all, WSearch was disabled, and nothing was indexed, second of all, when im starting to rebuild the index, the indexing is "complete" at 151 items (finish the indexing in 5secs) .

At Indexing Options > Modify > Show all locations, i cant see anything but the LOCAL DISK (C:), Cant find outlook ( theres like 5-6 outlooks with full cache and fully build OST )

I tried writting some registry values, and try re-building the OSTs, any help would be appreciated!

    Hi @DORh4 ,
By default, the Windows Search service is set to Disabled in Windows Server, you can re-enable the Windows Search service.
To do so, follow these steps:
Press the Windows key‌ +R to open the Run box.
Type services.msc, and then press Enter.
Right-click Windows Search, and then select Properties.

Change the Startup type to Automatic (Delayed Start).

Select Apply, and then select Start.
Select OK, and then close the Services console.

    Hi @DORh4 ,

How did you uninstall? We recommended you uninstall office from control panel:
Control Panel > Program and Features
Right-Click Microsoft Office select Uninstall, then re-install.

Please try to create a new profile and re-add your account to check if your account could work normally there(control panel>mail>show profiles>add>re-add your account).

Close Outlook and and on the Start menu, type Indexing Options in search box, is Microsoft Outlook included?

If not, click on Advanced on the Index Settings tab, under Troubleshooting, click Rebuild. A Rebuild Index dialog box opens warning that the "index might take a long time to complete." Choose OK to start rebuilding the index.
