MS Teams/ Intune - Unable to enroll Teams room for Android

Hi Team

I am trying to setup teams room on Android( Device - Yealink Android device) , Successfully i set up teams room with Proper infrastructure and necessary team room license .

While i am trying to log on to the Team room with the credentials , i am getting below error

Hence i would like to raise a question , Am i supposed to add the device serial number to the corporate device identifiers in Endpoint manager ?

There's two potential issues causing this. First, check that your Conditional Access Policies aren't blocking it. (They likely are) To prevent it, you need to create a dynamic device group targeting devices that have "Yealink" as their manufacturer. Then add that group to the exceptions list for any policies blocking the sign in via Conditional Access.

After that, you need to ensure that you create a SEPARATE Android compliance policy with basically no real compliance requirements and assign it to only that device group. Then add the device group to the exclude list for the Android compliance policy you'd be assigning to all your other Android devices in the company.

For the corporate device identifiers, if you enroll the Android device using one of the following enrollment methods, it will automatically assigns corporate-owned status to devices.
Android Enterprise corporate-owned devices with work profile
Android Enterprise fully managed devices
Android Enterprise dedicated devices

This error i am receiving while i am logging to the yealink Device , Is it because i did not added the serial number to the corporate device identifiers ?

Honestly, I'm not familiar with Yealink Android device. However, personal device and corporate device both can be enrolled to intune. So, it is not needed to add the serial number.

Based on my research, Android device administrator enrollment is currently the recommended management solution for Microsoft Teams certified Android devices.

Please make sure that "Android device administrator" is allowed in Devices > Enroll devices > Enrollment device platform restrictions in intune portal and you choose "Use device administrator to manage devices" in Devices > Enroll devices > Android enrollment > Personal and corporate-owned devices with device administrator privileges. Then try to sign in Teams again and check if it works.

Hi

The Android device administrator is already in place and there are no plat form restrictions set as well , Not sure why the device is not logging in while logging to the team
