Dear all,
I have a specific problem that I can't seem to find a solution to anywhere. The situation is as follows:
A customer of mine claimed that there was a problem with the Office 365 account in combination with the Authenticator app on the iPhone. In order to show that it wasn't the Office 365 account that caused the problem, I added the account to my personal Microsoft Authenticator app. I showed that everything worked fine, and removed the account from my phone. All was well. Case closed?
Not actually. Later I noticed I was still receiving push notifications within the Authenticator app. At first I thought one of my accounts had been compromised, but when I opened the app there were no notifications. I figured it must have been the account of the customer that I removed that was still sending push notifications to my phone.
I can't remember the name and phone number of the customer, so I'm unable to contact them. The daily series of ghost notifications on my phone is becoming a bit of a nuisance. I have removed the Authenticator app from my phone, and re-installed it from the App Store. But the notifications immediately returned.
Is there any way to remove this account from my Authenticator completely? Or see who's e-mail address it is that is sending the notifications, so I can contact the owner?
Thank you for any suggestions!
