Seems like Setup think you don't have anything installed. Is SQL Server running? Can you connect and run SELECT @@version?

Overall, it could help if you could give a little more background what steps you've taken, including installation. Keep in mind that we don't have access to your machine.

Well, I'm trying to help. But in order be able to help you, we need to understand what you are doing. Please remember that we don't have access to your machine, so we are entirely dependent on what you are telling us.

So as a start, could you tell us a little more about the steps you have taken, including the initial install of SQL Server?

Hi,

You cannot uninstall what is not installed, and according to the screenshot there is no component of SQL Server which is installed.

If you want to un-install SQL Server , then you need to first install it :-)

Hi @terry and fern clear ,

Agree with pituach. According to your another thread, your installation is failed. There is no components of SQL server 2019 that is installed on your server, so you get this error message. It is normal. You can mark the reply from pituach as answer to close this thread, if you have no issue with uninstall.
