We are setting up the Azure Virtual Desktop.

Can the current users profiles which are on the users devices be linked to Azure virtual Desktop? So when the user logs in on the Azure Virtual Desktop he would have the same settings as on his/her office device where they are not using the Azure Virtual Desktop.

We have already installed the FSLogix and we would like to use Azure Files for the profiles.

Thank you for asking this question on the **Microsoft Q&A Platform. **

You should install FSLogix on their office device and configure it in the same Azure File.

I did that configuration for my profile in the past.

Hi soysoliscarlos,

as far as I know there is no solution for multiple sessions using the same FSLogix profile (apart from Citrix Profile Manager merge)?
So when you logon to your Laptop the local session will be using the FSLogix profile and block it so that consecutive logon to AVD with the same user will only be able to open the profile in read-only mode? Changes done in the AVD session would be lost then, right?

P.S.: @Damini Singh There is a Powershell script to generate FSLogix vhd(x) files from existing profiles, see: https://github.com/Deyda/Microsoft/blob/master/FSLogix/FSLogix-LocalProfileToProfileContainer.ps1 - you can use that to generate the vhd which you can copy to Azure Files storage. Profiles would be independent, but initially users in AVD would have an identical setup... But this might have advantages, too - if for instance software installed on AVD differs from locally available apps...
