Anomaly detection alerts

hello,

In the alerts tool I was following the documentation for creating an Anomaly detection alerts.
However, I can see the menu option but it does not allow me to detect it.

@Stimpfle, Erik (DOA) , thank you for sharing additional information for this issue.

Based on the shared link earlier, the Anomaly Alert rule creation requires a Subscription to be selected. Please ensure that a subscription has been selected as shown in the screenshot below:

The "Add anomaly alert" option is disabled, when the scope is set to Management Group level, as shown below:

Thanks yeah it's still giving me an error message even though I tried to change the scope . Maybe I need some type of role based permission.

@Stimpfle, Erik (DOA) , Thank you for the reply. Yes, you would also need "Cost Management Contributor" role assigned to the logged in user under subscription. To do it,

1. In Azure portal, search for "Subscription" --> Select the subscription for which you want to assign role.
2. Select "Access control (IAM)" --> "+ Add" --> "Add role assignment" and assign "Cost Management Contributor" role.
