i update my surface Pro 7 in windows 11, after restart need bitlocker key, and when i go to my microsoft Account to recover it, the page https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey shows Try a different URL , We don’t have anything to show you at this link. Try searching for what you want, instead.

I can't find the bitlocker password on the official website. What should I do, I've contacted I can't find the bitlocker password on the official website what should I do, I have contacted the Microsoft company but they only suggest visiting the Microsoft site.

I recently had the same problem and could not find the recovery key on my main account or any of my "official" Microsoft accounts.
My tip: the key exists and is somewhere.
Check the link aka.myrecoverykey with ALL ACCOUNTS that have ever been logged in on your laptop (live.com, outlook.com... but also from other providers!!!). It could be your address, but also that of a friend or family member... In this case, you'll need them to try to log in there: aka.ms/myrecoverykey
If the aka.ms/myrecoverykey doesn't work at first, try logging in with every single email address that was once active on your laptop using these links:
https://account.microsoft.com
https://myaccount.microsoft.com
https://mysignins.microsoft.com
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-ca/account
And contact your school or work IT support if you've used such an address. They'll be able to search for a recovery key associated with your student/pro account.
In my case, the recovery key was stored on an account that I used on my laptop once (!) and that has absolutely nothing to do with Microsoft...Good luck!

If you don't have the recovery key then you'll need to factory reset it or otherwise clean install it.

Hi I have same problem with bitlocker key request after update.
After days playing with with different settings i manage to login without that key and without loosing data.
My solution for envy x360 :
stage 1 In bios : boot options, change secure boot to disable . save and exit bios
stage 2 In bios : boot options, change secure boot to enabled , clear all secure boot keys, load hp factory default keys . save and exit .
Start windows and wait bitlocker key request should not show any more.
log in with your credential disable bitlocker or save key on pen drive (not on hdd/sdd ).

You are an absolute genius ! I have been trying to inlock my daughters laptop from bitlocker for nearly 3 months being told by Microsoft and HP that it could not be done. I couldn't do any installs from any ISO from Microsoft and thought it was lost (Laptop was only 2 months old), however having now just done this i am now back into the laptop, so thank you very much for this !

I have an Account and signed in. even my surface pro 7 is in my devices, but the page for Bitlocker recovery not loading for me.
Then there are likely no devices.
The problem is, i didnt set Bitlocker, how could i have a Key?
Yes, agreed. The only other option is if you linked a work account then it could be stored in Azure active directory. Barring that you'll need to factory reset it or otherwise clean install it.
