How to recieve payments for a MSI or EXE microsoft store app

I've made an app and listed it on the Microsoft store and selected the Pricing as Paid: one-time payment but there is no option about actual dollar amount price. The app in the store says paid in search results but can be downloaded for free. Is there anyway to set that the app costs 99 cents to download from the store?

    Hi @Click2Graph

You will want to follow the steps listed on:

    In-app purchases and trials

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/monetize/in-app-purchases-and-trials

Enable in-app purchases of apps and add-ons

I have this same problem. It looks like there's a GitHub issue assigned, but with no progress:

Apparently, you can only use the microsoft billing mechanism for MSIX apps not exe or msi apps. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1259571/how-do-i-set-the-price-of-a-windows-app-in-the-mic. The section to select Pricing in the Availability section for MSI apps is more of a note.
