Outlook Mobile App Stuck Downloading

For the past 3-4 months, I have had employees mention that the Outlook mobile app on their company IOS devices gets stuck updating daily and they are unable to access any crucial emails while out in the field. The only solution we have found to fix this, was connecting to Wi-Fi.
This morning, I had another large amount of employees report the same issue happening. It seems like it's starting to now hit most of the workers in the company compared to only a few here and there. Unfortunately, most of them were out in the field and unable to connect to Wi-Fi to get their email up and running again. I noticed the 4.2232.0 update just launched several hours ago, so I'm thinking that might be a potential cause of the sudden influx?
Does anyone know other solutions to fix this from continually happening every day?
