    Is this password related to O365 account or Microsoft Live Account, can you provide more details on what is that you are trying to do for more information?

    I am locked out of my Laptop when I try to sign in using my PIN.
    The password used in Microsoft Live Account is working fine while logging in to mails but I cannot use the same to login to my laptop.

    I select the option Password, but after inputting password, it says username and password is wrong.

    Did you rebooted the device? Just in case cache issues and is it connected to the internet? Is it a corporate device?
