Pre-requisites for Windows Azure Camps - Norway

The following is required to complete this hands-on lab:

· A Windows Azure subscription with the Virtual Machines Preview enabled -

· A machine capable of running a web browser and Remote Desktop

 

1. sign up for a free trial

 

2. Enable your Windows Azure Account for the Virtual Machines & Virtual Networks

Make sure you have access to the required preview features. Navigate to your Windows Azure account page and select “preview features”:

Then navigate to the “Virtual Machines & Virtual Network” section and click “try it now”:

You may also want to enable other preview features like Web Sites, but it will not be required for this lab.
