We have a new blog

With the upcoming release of Windows 8.1 Preview, we’re bringing the Windows 8 app developer and  Windows Store for developers blogs together into a new blog. The new Windows App Builder Blog is designed to be your one-stop shop for all things related to building Windows Store apps. It’ll have everything from development tips to monetization strategies to feature spotlights and more, and will also be an important part of our commitment to transparency into all aspects of the Windows Store, including important policy changes and explanations.

If you’re currently subscribed to our RSS feed, we’ll automatically redirect posts from the new blog so you don’t miss a beat. And we’ll keep our existing blog posts right here so you can refer back to them easily.

I hope you’ll enjoy the Windows App Builder Blog—we’re looking forward to bringing you lots of great info about Windows 8.1 and how to be successful with your apps.

win8 store for developers has fatal bug. i can't upload appx file. upload the appx packet times this error, i searched in google, say that with the RTM version of the win8, I tried, but also reported this error, I installed 4 versions of the win8 and all said error. Exactly which win8 installation package to get? You should not detect this,  why not let it pass that i packed appx in the latest version of win8? myie9.appx Validation error: This package wasn't built for the current version of Windows. Install the current version of Windows and build the package again.
