This page answers frequently asked questions about the managed SendGrid ingestion connector in Lakeflow Connect. For FAQs that apply to all managed connectors, see Managed connector FAQs.

Which SendGrid plans does the connector require?

The connector requires a SendGrid account on a Pro or Premier email API plan, or an Advanced Marketing Campaigns plan. Subusers are available only on these plans.

How much access-attempt history does the connector ingest?

The connector ingests the 20 most-recent access attempts per subuser and for the parent account. SendGrid does not expose older attempts or paginate this data. To keep longer history, accumulate the snapshots downstream.

Does the connector support EU data residency?

Yes. Select eu as the Data Region when you create the connection. The connector then reads from api.eu.sendgrid.com instead of the global api.sendgrid.com endpoint.

Does the connector ingest disabled subusers?

Yes. The subusers table includes both enabled and disabled subusers. The connector reads access attempts for every subuser; disabled subusers return an empty result.
