Important
This feature is in Beta. To use it, a workspace admin must turn on Lakeflow Connect for SurveyMonkey from the Previews page. See Manage Azure Databricks previews.
Find answers about the plans, tables, historical data, data regions, and authentication methods that the managed SurveyMonkey connector in Lakeflow Connect supports. For FAQs that apply to all managed connectors, see Managed connector FAQs.
Which SurveyMonkey plans does the connector require?
The connector authenticates through a private SurveyMonkey app. All users of a private app must have a paid plan that offers direct API access, and SurveyMonkey requires an Enterprise plan to deploy a private app. See Prerequisites.
Which tables does the connector support?
The connector supports 11 source tables: surveys, survey_details, survey_collectors, collectors, survey_responses, survey_folders, contacts, contact_lists, contact_list_contacts, collector_messages, and collector_recipients. For the full schemas, see Destination table schemas.
How far back can the connector ingest data?
For incremental tables, the first sync ingests records modified in the previous 365 days, and each later sync ingests records modified after the last run. Full-refresh tables reingest all available records on every run. To change the first-sync window, set the start_datetime connector option. See Connector options.
Which SurveyMonkey data centers does the connector support?
The connector supports accounts hosted in the US, EU, and Canadian data centers. Select the data center as the Data Region when you create the connection.
Which authentication methods does the connector support?
The connector supports OAuth user-to-machine (U2M) authentication with a SurveyMonkey app's client ID and client secret only. OAuth machine-to-machine (M2M), basic authentication with a username and password, and API keys aren't supported.
