Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Service Update 222 Release Notes


Service Update 222 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.1.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 222.

Important

Note: Service Update naming convention has been revised to clarify the link between the version number and Service Update number. For example, Service Update 150 will now correspond to version number 150xx. Occasionally a Service Update will be canceled and all associated fixes will be rolled into a subsequent Service Update. For this reason, Service Update numbers may not always increase incrementally.

To determine whether your organization had this update applied, check your Microsoft Dynamics 365 version number. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner, and then click About.

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

Accessibility

  • The Narrator/NVDA would not read the status after pressing 'Go Live' in accessibility mode.*

Platform Service

  • An error occurred when running Solution Checker on solutions with a Modern Driven App included.
  • When performing API queries using aliased attributes, some results would be missing.*
  • Similar case functionality did not show cases matching the criteria.*

Solutions

  • Images pasted within emails did not appear within the attachments subgrid.

Unified Client

  • When creating an opportunity record, alerts triggered twice instead of once.
  • When creating a database in offline mode, the user interface did not display the correct notification after connecting to a network.*
  • When opening an email with an attachment and inline image within the Unified Interface, that had been sent from Outlook, the attachment did not load.
  • When creating a new account in offline mode, the new account record was not synced after going online.*
  • The time contextual email window did not open after selected from a work queue within a lead/opportunity.*
  • Business process flows with a blank 'required' field could incorrectly be saved.
  • Some appointments were not visible in the Calendar within "My Appointments."*
  • When selecting the cancel option in the search bar after opening a record and navigating back to grid view, the user interface did not display all of the records.
  • In the Dashboard, the user interface was unresponsive when using the "ESC" keyboard shortcut to close the multiselect drop down menu.
  • Duplicate accounts with identical names could be saved without triggering an error message.
  • Records in the mobile app did not scroll down to the bottom of the page.*
  • The App Landing page iFrame and the data-appID were not available when offline.
  • Accounts grid searches returned additional records.
  • Business process flows HTML element IDs were not unique.
  • Upon completion of form layout changes to a textbox, the values would revert to their previous state.
  • When modifying the currency details for an account entity, the user interface did not trigger a validation error when an incorrect format was applied.
  • When selecting the "Add Existing Campaign" option in a campaign entity, the user interface displayed a blank screen when adding the associated records.
  • When moving a column up or down within a data set, the user interface displayed an ellipses within the column during the modifications.
  • In the Customer Service Hub, the user interface was unresponsive when selecting the "hide" option for the global filter in the Dashboard.
  • When modifying the custom control grid labels, some German translations were incorrect.

  • An error occurred when selecting a ribbon command within an entity to export records to Excel Online.
  • An error occurred when attempting to create an email using the "Account Reconnect" template.

Unified Client

  • An error occurred when attempting to load Editform.*
  • An error occurred when navigating to a form page in the Unified Interface.*
  • An error occurred when assigning a conversation to an agent.*
  • An error occurred when creating a record on the Standalone Business Process Flow (BPF) app.*
  • An error occurred when using the Global Search feature in the Internet Explorer 11 browser.*
  • An error occurred when saving changes to a new contact.*
  • An error occurred when removing content in the regarding field of an activity record and the record would not save.*
  • An error occurred when building a marketing email entity.*
  • An occurred when attempting to save Appointments.*
  • An error occurred when attempting to save resolved cases.*
