Where can I find Microsoft Learn Achievement Code resources?
The Microsoft Learn Achievement Code Onboarding and Usage Overview document can be found in the Get Started Collection on the Learning Resources site.
How do I get access to create achievement code URLs?
To request achievement codes for your learners, you must first enroll in the achievement code request program. Once approved, you’ll be able to generate achievement code URLs.

I don’t see the “Request Achievement Code” button after enrolling—what should I do?
If the button is still missing 24+ hours after enrollment, try the following steps:
- Close all browser windows
- Open a new browser and go to https://learn.microsoft.com
- Sign in using your Outlook.com Class Administrator account
- Navigate to a course or learning path detail page
- Perform a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5)
If the issue persists, re-enroll.

How do I create an achievement code URL?
- Go to https://aka.ms/Courseware_Title_Plan
- Use the URL Creation Tool tab to generate your code

What if a learner sees “Code has reached its maximum” or “Achievement code not found”?
These errors mean the code is no longer valid. Please generate a new achievement code for the course and share it with the learner.

Do incomplete or incorrect achievement code URLs count toward KPIs?
No. Only achievement codes created using the URL Creation Tool in the Title Plan are eligible for KPI credit. Codes generated outside this process will not be counted.
