Walls Interface

Definition

Represents the walls of a 3-D chart. This object isn’t a collection. There’s no object that represents a single wall; you must return all the walls as a unit.

Examples

Use the Walls property to return the Walls object. The following example sets the pattern on the walls for the first chart in the active document. If the chart isn’t a 3-D chart, this example will fail.

Properties

Application

When used without an object qualifier, this property returns an _Application object that represents the Microsoft Word application. When used with an object qualifier, this property returns an Application object that represents the creator of the specified object (you can use this property with an OLE Automation object to return the application of that object). Read-only.

Border

Returns a Border object that represents the border of the object.

Creator

Returns a 32-bit integer that indicates the application in which the specified object was created. Read-only Integer.

Fill

Returns a ChartFillFormat object for a specified chart that contains fill formatting properties for the chart.

Format

Returns the line, fill, and effect formatting for the object. Read-only ChartFormat.

Interior

Returns an Interior object that represents the interior of the specified object.

Name

Returns a String value that represents the name of the object.

Parent

Returns the parent for the specified object. Read-only Object.

PictureType

Returns or sets a Object value that represents the way pictures are displayed on the walls and faces of a 3-D chart.

PictureUnit

Returns or sets the unit for each picture on the chart if the PictureType property is set to xlStackScale (if not, this property is ignored). Read/write Integer.

Thickness

Returns or sets a Integer specifying the thickness of the wall. Read/write.

ClearFormats()

Clears the formatting of the object.

Paste()

Pastes a picture from the Clipboard on the walls of the specified chart.

Select()

Selects the object.
