public:

public void Hide ();
abstract member Hide : unit -> unit
Public Sub Hide ()
Remarks
Calling the Hide method only hides the task pane user interface, including the ActionsPane control and any controls that have been added to it. This method does not hide the task pane itself.
If you want to hide the task pane or determine whether the task pane is visible, use the following properties:
For Word, use the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.TaskPane.Visible* property of the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.TaskPane object that represents the Document Actions task pane.
For Excel, use the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel._Application.DisplayDocumentActionTaskPane* property of the Microsoft.Office.Tools.Excel.Workbook.Application object.
For more information and code examples, see Actions Pane Overview.
