member this.InstantiatePrefabs : MixedReality.Toolkit.Data.IDataCollectionItemPlacer * int * int * obj -> unit
Protected Sub InstantiatePrefabs (itemPlacer As IDataCollectionItemPlacer, indexRangeStart As Integer, indexRangeCount As Integer, requestRef As Object)
Parameters
- itemPlacer
- IDataCollectionItemPlacer
Item placer to receive the specified range of prefabs.
- indexRangeStart
- Int32
Zero based start of the range to instantiate.
- indexRangeCount
- Int32
Number of list items to instantiate.
- requestRef
- Object
Arbitrary private request object that will be provided to the item placer.
Remarks
For the specified range, instantiate prefabs and provide them to the specified item placer.
Any prefab data consumers in the prefab are automatically connected to the same data source as the collection itself, and its key path prefix is set to the full resolve prefix for this collection combined with the array index position of the item in the array.
NOTE: If you need to know that an item has been created, override ItemAdded(Int32, GameObject).
