Overloads

Name Description
SendCommand(String)

Send a command through the Data Controller with no optional parameters

SendCommand(String, Dictionary<String,Object>)

Send a command through the IDataController, with optional parameters

SendCommand(String)

Send a command through the Data Controller with no optional parameters

public virtual void SendCommand(string command);
abstract member SendCommand : string -> unit
override this.SendCommand : string -> unit
Public Overridable Sub SendCommand (command As String)

Parameters

command
String

The command to send.

Remarks

This is provided for easy integration into UX elements that can easily bind to simple methods to indicate user intent. This will then be bound with data that has been bound, usually a unique identifier.

Note that the parameters are not included and do not specify a default value of null because this prevents the method signature from meeting the requirements of simple event/command method searches using reflection.
