CustomTypeDescriptor.GetDefaultEvent Method

Returns the event descriptor for the default event of the object represented by this type descriptor.

If a parent custom type descriptor was passed into the CustomTypeDescriptor constructor, the GetDefaultEvent method will call the parent's corresponding method.
