DisplayMode Enum

Definition

Defines identifiers that indicate the display modes used by ByteViewer.

C#
public enum DisplayMode
Inheritance
DisplayMode

Fields

Name Value Description
Hexdump 1

A hexadecimal format display.

Ansi 2

An ANSI format display.

Unicode 3

A Unicode format display.

Auto 4

A display mode that automatically selects a display mode. In this mode, the bytes are examined to determine if they are hexadecimal or printable. If the bytes are in hexadecimal format, the Hexdump mode is selected. If the characters match a printable character set, a test is run to automatically select either the Ansi or Unicode display mode.

Examples

The following example demonstrates how to use DisplayMode identifiers. This code example is part of a larger example provided for the ByteViewer class.

using System.ComponentModel.Design;
using System.Windows.Forms;
