DbCommandBuilder.SetAllValues Property

Definition

Specifies whether all column values in an update statement are included or only changed ones.

C#
public bool SetAllValues { get; set; }

Property Value

true if the UPDATE statement generated by the DbCommandBuilder includes all columns; false if it includes only changed columns.

Remarks

The UPDATE statement generated by a DbCommandBuilder can include update information about all the columns, or it can include information only about those columns whose values have changed. Setting the SetAllValues property to true causes the generated UPDATE statement to include all the columns, whether their values have changed or not.
