Int64.INumberBase<Int64>.TryConvertToTruncating<TOther> Method

Definition

Tries to convert an instance of the the current type to another type, truncating any values that fall outside the representable range of the current type.

generic <typename TOther>
 where TOther : System::Numerics::INumberBase<TOther> static bool System.Numerics.INumberBase<System.Int64>.TryConvertToTruncating(long value, [Runtime::InteropServices::Out] TOther % result) = System::Numerics::INumberBase<long>::TryConvertToTruncating;
static bool INumberBase<long>.TryConvertToTruncating<TOther> (long value, out TOther result) where TOther : System.Numerics.INumberBase<TOther>;
static member System.Numerics.INumberBase<System.Int64>.TryConvertToTruncating : int64 * 'Other -> bool (requires 'Other :> System.Numerics.INumberBase<'Other>)
 Shared Function TryConvertToTruncating(Of TOther As INumberBase(Of TOther)) (value As Long, ByRef result As TOther) As Boolean Implements INumberBase(Of Long).TryConvertToTruncating
