Remarks

This class object provides the container for the fields of an ObjectList. Accessing the Fields property of an ObjectList retrieves an ObjectListFieldCollection object.

The properties and methods of the ObjectListFieldCollection class are a superset of the IObjectListFieldCollection interface. All properties and methods of that interface, including those that it inherits from the ASP.NET ICollection interface, are applicable here. This class provides additional properties and methods to modify the collection. These properties and methods provide standard collection management capability, such as adding, removing, and clearing the collection.

If you change the collection by calling the methods Add, AddAt, Remove, or RemoveAt during Page_Init, the view state for the Fields, Items, and ViewMode properties of the object list is ignored.

Properties

Count

Returns the number of elements in a collection. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see Mobile Apps & Sites with ASP.NET. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see Mobile Apps & Sites with ASP.NET.

(Inherited from ArrayListCollectionBase)
IsReadOnly

Gets a value indicating whether a collection is read-only.

IsSynchronized

Gets a value indicating whether a collection is synchronized.

IsTrackingViewState

Indicates whether the collection tracking its view state changes. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see Mobile Apps & Sites with ASP.NET.

Item[Int32]

The default indexer for the ObjectListFieldCollection class, allows the lookup of arbitrary capability values by index. Any of the properties can be accessed by name. However, the returned value will always be a string (or null if not defined), rather than a type-safe value. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see Mobile Apps & Sites with ASP.NET.

Items

Gets or sets the collection of items in an array list object. The default value is Empty. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see Mobile Apps & Sites with ASP.NET.

(Inherited from ArrayListCollectionBase)
SyncRoot

Returns the SyncRoot object for the collection. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see Mobile Apps & Sites with ASP.NET.

(Inherited from ArrayListCollectionBase)
