override this.OnCellMouseEnter : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnCellMouseEnter (e As DataGridViewCellEventArgs)
Parameters
A DataGridViewCellEventArgs that contains the event data.
Exceptions
The value of the ColumnIndex property of e
is greater than the number of columns in the control minus one.
-or-
The value of the RowIndex property of e
is greater than the number of rows in the control minus one.
Remarks
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.
The OnCellMouseEnter method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors
When overriding OnCellMouseEnter(DataGridViewCellEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnCellMouseEnter(DataGridViewCellEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
