public override object ConvertTo (System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext context, System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture, object value, Type destinationType);

Public Overrides Function ConvertTo (context As ITypeDescriptorContext, culture As CultureInfo, value As Object, destinationType As Type) As Object

Parameters

context
ITypeDescriptorContext

A format context that provides information about the environment from which this converter is being invoked.

culture
CultureInfo

Culture specific information.

value
Object

The object to convert.

destinationType
Type

The type to convert the object to.

Returns

Throws an exception in all cases.

Exceptions

Cannot perform the conversion.

value is not type of ComponentResourceKey.

destinationType is null.

Remarks

The ComponentResourceKey type should not use a type converter pathway to convert values. You should use markup extensions instead. For this reason, the CanConvertFrom(ITypeDescriptorContext, Type) and CanConvertTo(ITypeDescriptorContext, Type) methods always return false. The ConvertFrom(ITypeDescriptorContext, CultureInfo, Object) and ConvertTo(ITypeDescriptorContext, CultureInfo, Object, Type) methods always throw an exception.
