Remarks
The SqlTrackingService allows you to partition the database in order to provide an efficient method for archiving and deleting tracking records. If your database experiences long periods between down times or your database has no planned downtime, you can set PartitionOnCompletion to move tracking records associated with a workflow instance from the active instance tables to the currently active partition when the workflow instance completes. This allows you to archive or delete these records without having to lock the data in the active instance tables of the database. For more information about partitioning, see Data Maintenance with SqlTrackingService.
