Frontline workers have increased visibility into the offline data status and application connectivity while using the offline-enabled Dynamics 365 Field Service Mobile application.

Feature details

The offline sync icon is visible in the main header on iOS, Android, and Windows devices. The icon has several badges that represent sync states:

  • Connected
  • Not connected
  • Syncing data
  • Pending changes from device
  • Error
  • Warning

The sync status page includes additional details about application connectivity to Dataverse in addition to storage used on the device by the application.

This capability is provided as part of the Power Apps offline sync icon in 2023 release wave 1.

Offline sync icon indicates that the app is syncing data.

Offline sync icon indicates that the user has pending changes to synchronize.

Offline sync icon indicates that the app has no stable Internet connection.
