Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Service Update 21092 Release Notes


Service Update 21092 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.2.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 21092.

Important

Note: Service Update naming convention has been revised to clarify the link between the version number and Service Update number. For example, Service Update 150 will now correspond to version number 150xx. Occasionally a Service Update will be canceled and all associated fixes will be rolled into a subsequent Service Update. For this reason, Service Update numbers may not always increase incrementally.

To determine whether your organization had this update applied, check your Microsoft Dynamics 365 version number. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner, and then click About.

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

Accessibility

  • Some content and controls in the Visitor Pane within the Omnichannel Engagement Hub were not visible when viewing the page at 400% zoom.
  • Donut charts in the bound dashboard were not labeled according to the axe-core 4.1 accessibility requirement that prevents these page elements from becoming focusable by the accessibility screen reader.*

Platform Services

  • Emails appeared as 'tracked' in Exchange with the Dynamics category was applied but were synchronized to Dynamics 365.

Sales

  • The note analysis feature was not present in Sales Insights settings when either 2021 release wave 1 and 2 were enabled.*

Solutions

  • When inputting text content in a Rich Text enabled form field and clicking outside of the text box, html tags appeared in the text box.

Unified Interface

  • When performing a relevance search for an activity or contact entity, the search results did not contain the activity entities or custom contact fields in the contact entities listed.
  • When creating a Business Rule that contained a condition in the first rule and an entity field condition, the new business rule could not be saved in the business rule designer.
  • When the 2021 Wave 2 release and Japanese language settings were enabled in the Customer Service Hub, the filter results within contact entities was displayed in English.
  • When creating a new contact record in a Business Process Flow (BPF) and saving the record, while using the Client API reference “OnPreProcessStatusChange,” the BPF entity would enter a finished state and save the record.
  • On mobile devices, the command bar did not render for both grids and forms.
  • When using non-English language settings and selecting a view in a contact entity that contained no records, the "No Rows To Show" message was displayed in English.
  • When opening a leads entity while the 2021 wave upgrade was enabled, the "Show Chart" button was not present.*
  • When selecting the reply/reply all/forward command in Outlook, the email description section did not contain the minimum three lines of space required for text input.*
  • When creating a view or modify an existing view with a "createdby" field, the view could not be filtered based on the "created by" form field data.
  • When the 2021 Wave 2 release and Non-English language settings were enabled in the Customer Service Hub, the filter results within contact entities was displayed in English.*

  • Images in cells did not have a size limit within PCD grids.
  • When performing a relevance search for an activity or contact entity, the search results did not contain the activity entities or custom contact fields in the contact entities listed.*
  • When creating a Business Rule that contained a condition in the first rule and an entity field condition, the new business rule could not be saved in the business rule designer.*
  • When inputting text content in a Rich Text enabled form field and clicking outside of the text box, html tags appeared in the text box.*
  • Text entered into an editable grid on an account grid was duplicated until saved.*
  • When adding a new multi-line field with 100,000 max length to a form in RTE format, the text input field was intermittently unresponsive and spellcheck did not review the text content.*
  • The member view under Segment had not displayed correctly.*
  • Booking records were unresponsive when attempting to mark a service task or service as complete within the Service tab, on mobile devices.*

  • An error and timeouts occurred when leaving a record open for an extended period of time.
  • An error occurred when attempting to activate an inactive record.
  • An error occurred when modifying the description section of a contact entity in a Business Process Flow (BPF), saving the new information and navigating to the second BPF stage.
  • An error occurred when creating a Lead record and selecting the associated Activity grid in the Related tab.
  • An exception occurred when replying to a comment within an App Module.*
  • An error occurred in the Field Service Mobile app while in offline mode for quick view forms on version 1.4.3159-2108.4 and above.*
  • An error and timeouts occurred when leaving a record open for an extended period of time.*
  • An error occurred when saving updates to opportunity forecast within a sales record.
