Microsoft Dataverse - Service Update 21093 Release Notes


Service Update 21093 for Microsoft Dataverse 9.2.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 21093.

Note: This update is the start of the 2021 release wave 2 plans for capabilities that will be released October 2021 through March 2022.

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

Accessibility

  • When navigating through calendar dates via the ‘Starts’ field within the Customer Service Hub, the Talkback screen reader announced that the state was "disabled” incorrectly.
  • When applying focus to a custom page, the accessibility screen reader announced “main landmark”' instead of the custom page name or the label "custom page."

Platform Services

  • Emails appeared as 'tracked' in Exchange with the Dynamics category was applied but were synchronized to Dynamics 365.

Sales

  • The note analysis feature was not present in Sales Insights settings when either 2021 release wave 1 and 2 were enabled.*
  • Activities did not load in lead activities associated grid.

Unified Interface

  • Status options were not displayed in the sorting defined in field properties when the status drop-down was presented for contacts.
  • The hierarchy column in entities with hierarchy records would disappear after filtering records, and would reappear in a different column when filters were cleared.
  • The hierarchy column in parent entities with hierarchal records was not visible.
  • When applying new filter conditions to a single column, all the previous filters were reflected in the column.
  • The height for a grid within an account entity was not maintained when selecting the "show as" button to switch from an editable grid view to a read-only view in the Customer Service Hub.*
  • Copied images could not be pasted between rich text editor fields.
  • After adding a jump bar control to a custom activity homepage grid, the jump bar did not display.*
  • After upgrading to 2021 release wave 2 Preview, the share dialogue within account records did not maintain local language settings.*
  • The member view under Segment had not displayed correctly.*
  • When setting the infinite scroll feature for the TimelineWall canvas component to "none," the infinite scroll feature remained active.*
  • When a PCF grid was in quick view or in a quick form, the command bar was missing.
  • In an activity entity appointment, the ‘Set’ button when setting a recurrence pattern was unresponsive.
  • Text entered into an editable grid on an account grid was duplicated until saved.*
  • Booking records were unresponsive when attempting to mark a service task or service as complete within the Service tab, on mobile devices.*
  • When applying focus to an "Equals" filter dropdown menu, the menu did not expand and did not contain pre-load filter options.
  • When selecting a letter within a jump bar filter, the selected letter was highlighted, and no filter results were present.
  • When adding content to an email using copy and paste, the images within the email were shortened.*
  • Clearing the search box after performing a global search would result in a blank page. Cleared search boxes following a search using a single asterisk () wildcard would result in "undefined" appearing in the search field.
  • When navigating through calendar dates via the ‘Starts’ field within the Customer Service Hub, the Talkback screen reader announced that the state was "disabled” incorrectly.*
  • Currency fields with a precision of '2' were rounding down, rather than up.
  • Failures occurred when loading grids within an environment while using Internet Explorer 11.

  • An error occurred when loading email templates.

Unified Interface

  • An error occurred when toggling the “pricing” field from “Override Price” to “Use Default” on a quote product form when the the “Existing Product" field was erased.
  • An exception occurred when replying to a comment within an App Module.*
  • An error occurred when applying column filters on a column from a related entity in a new grid.
  • An error occurred when selecting the search icon while in the Dynamics 365 for Outlook app.*
  • An error occurred in the Field Service Mobile app while in offline mode for quick view forms on version 1.4.3159-2108.4 and above.*
