with Eric Snow, Jay Miller
Eric Snow has been working on a Python Enhancement Proposal that will greatly change how multi-threading works with Python for nearly a decade. When he joined the Faster CPython Team at Microsoft, production increased rapidly and this year PEP 684 - "A Per-Interpreter GIL" was approved.
Eric sat with Senior Cloud Advocate for Python - Jay Miller at PyCon US and talked about the PEP process, the steps after approval and what attending PyCon US provides for him as a Core Developer and PEP Author.
