Note: The Microsoft Graph API for Intune requires an active Intune license for the tenant.

Create a new user object.

Permissions

One of the following permissions is required to call this API. To learn more, including how to choose permissions, see Permissions.

Permission type Permissions (from least to most privileged)
Delegated (work or school account) DeviceManagementManagedDevices.ReadWrite.All
Delegated (personal Microsoft account) Not supported.
Application DeviceManagementManagedDevices.ReadWrite.All

Request body

In the request body, supply a JSON representation for the user object.

The following table shows the properties that are required when you create the user.
