languageTagdisplayText
enBase entity from which all ESG Data Model entities are derived.
enScope is the basis for mandatory Greenhouse Gas reporting. Currently, there are three scopes used to define emissions.

Ex:

  • Scope 1
  • Scope 2
  • Scope 3

where: SCOPE 1 Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that a party makes directly. For example, this would include emissions generated from manufacturing processes and from running equipment and vehicles.

SCOPE 2 Greenhouse gas emissions that a party makes indirectly For example, this would include emissions from electricity or energy it buys for heating and cooling buildings, is being produced on its behalf.

SCOPE 3 Greenhouse gas emissions that the party is indirectly responsible for up and down the party's value chain but aren't generated by the party directly or indirectly. For example, this would include emissions generated by the customers use of the party's products and the emissions that are generated by vendors when creating the products that the organization uses.

ParameterValueData typeExplanation
versionNumber"1.2.3"string

is.IDM.modelVersion
Semantic version number of the IDM.

ParameterValueData typeExplanation
versionNumber"2.0.0"string

has.schemaObjectIdentifier
The schema object has an identifier, which is a string, specified as the parameter of the trait. It allows writers to define more identification values.

ParameterValueData typeExplanation
identifier"{20C603CC-F5F4-4B5E-89A3-8BDECE22954B}"stringThe identifier for the schema object. There's no uniqueness guarantee enforced by CDM. It's a contract between reader and writer of the schema.

is.nativeTo.businessArea
The name of the business area from which the entity originates.

ParameterValueData typeExplanation

has.entitySchemaAbstractionLevel
A level of abstraction assigned to an Entity schema. Logical schema descriptions use complex dataTypes, inheritance, and entities as attributes. Resolved descriptions contain none of those things, only final trait and attribute sets are shown. A composition schema manipulates, guides, or restates parts of logical schemas to produce one resolved schema.

ParameterValueData typeExplanation
