3.1.2.8 MessageIDHistory Cleanup Timer

This timer regulates the amount of time that the protocol waits before removing expired entries from the MessageIDHistoryTable ADM element. This timer is set during Global Initialization (section 3.1.3.1) when the MessageIDHistoryTable ADM element is nonempty, when a new MessageIDHistoryEntry ADM element instance is added to a previously empty MessageIDHistoryTable ADM element, or when this timer expires and the MessageIDHistoryTable ADM element is nonempty even after stale entries have been deleted, as specified in section 3.1.6.7. The duration of this timer MUST be set based on the system configuration, which is implementation-dependent.<47>
