With environment routing, admins can direct makers to their developer environments. Environment routing gives makers a personal, secure space to build with Microsoft Dataverse without worrying that others can access their apps or data.
Feature details
Environment routing is a premium governance feature. When you use this feature, Power Platform admins automatically direct new or existing makers to their personal developer environments when they go to make.powerapps.com or copilotstudio.microsoft.com.
When you turn on the Environment routing setting in the Power Platform admin center, makers go to their own personal developer environment instead of the default environment. Personal developer environments are the makers' own spaces, like OneDrive, for personal productivity. Makers can start building apps and solutions in their workspace. Makers don't need to know which environment to work in, since the personal developer environment appears automatically.
