Microsoft Dataverse in Work IQ enables intelligent business workflows in Microsoft 365 Copilot by combining reusable skills, adaptive learning, rich business context, agent identity, and deep Dataverse integration across all Microsoft 365 Copilot surfaces. Organizations can encode workflows as portable skills that agents execute consistently, while adaptive learning enables agents to continuously improve based on real-world usage. Rich business context ensures agents understand domain-specific terminology and entity relationships. Agent identity establishes native agent identities in Dataverse, enabling transparent audit trails that distinguish agent actions from user actions. Together, these capabilities power Dataverse integration across Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences—delivering consistent, trusted, and intelligent business data experiences wherever users work.
With intelligent business data in Work IQ, customers can access CRM records, query business tables, and execute workflows through natural conversation across every Work IQ entry point—with full transparency into agent actions. New capabilities include portable skills that work across agent products, AI-driven learning that automatically refines agent output, semantic understanding that maps business terminology to data, native agent identities for auditable LOB data access, and unified Dataverse access from Work IQ chat, search, and research experiences. These enhancements transform Work IQ into a trusted, business-aware platform that understands organizational context, maintains clear accountability, and delivers relevant, actionable insights without switching applications.
