Get-AzureRoleSize

Gets the role size information for the current subscription.

Note

The cmdlets referenced in this documentation are for managing legacy Azure resources that use Azure Service Manager (ASM) APIs. This legacy PowerShell module isn't recommended when creating new resources since ASM is scheduled for retirement. For more information, see Azure Service Manager retirement.

The Az PowerShell module is the recommended PowerShell module for managing Azure Resource Manager (ARM) resources with PowerShell.

Description

The Get-AzureRoleSize cmdlet gets the role size information for the current subscription.

Example 1: Get role size information

PS C:\> Get-AzureRoleSize

This command gets role size information for the current subscription.

Example 2: Get role size information and specify the role size name

PS C:\> Get-AzureRoleSize -InstanceSize A7

This command gets role size information for the specified role size.

Example 3: Get role size information for all virtual machines in all of the Azure services

PS C:\> Get-AzureService | Get-AzureVM | Get-AzureRoleSize

This command gets role size information for all virtual machines in all of the Azure services.

The acceptable values for this parameter are:
