New-AzureRemoteAppTemplateImage

Uploads or imports an Azure RemoteApp template image.

Note

The cmdlets referenced in this documentation are for managing legacy Azure resources that use Azure Service Manager (ASM) APIs. This legacy PowerShell module isn't recommended when creating new resources since ASM is scheduled for retirement. For more information, see Azure Service Manager retirement.

The Az PowerShell module is the recommended PowerShell module for managing Azure Resource Manager (ARM) resources with PowerShell.

Description

The New-AzureRemoteAppTemplateImage cmdlet uploads or imports an Azure RemoteApp template image.

Examples

Example 1: Upload a VHD file to create a template image

PS C:\> New-AzureRemoteAppTemplateImage -ImageName "ContosoApps" -Location "North Europe" -Path "C:\RemoteAppImages\ContosoApps.vhd"

This command uploads C:\RemoteAppImages\ContosoApps.vhd to create a template image named ContosoApps in the North Europe data center.
