Scroll Bars
Due to screen size limitations, a user might need to scroll to view all the information on a screen.
On Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs, include scroll bars in an application to enable scrolling for a large screen.On Windows Mobile-based Smartphones, include scroll bars in an application to indicate that a screen is not fully displayed. A user cannot select the scroll bars to scroll the screen. Instead, the user presses a navigation hardware button to scroll.
State Attributes
The following illustration shows the states for Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC scroll bars.

Windows Mobile–based Smartphone scroll bars are used as a visual indicator only and are not actionable. Therefore, there are no states.
Development Considerations
Consider the following development conditions when you include check box controls in an application:
- Scroll bars must be added by the developer. They are not automatic for content that is larger than the form.
