Full Screen Multi-line Edit

Send Feedback

A full-screen multi-line edit (MLE) is a special type of text box used to conserve space on the Windows Mobile-based Smartphone device.

Behavior

1. The user moves focus to full-screen MLE control in field mode.   2. The user presses the Action key, or the right arrow when the control is in focus, and the one-line text box expands to the full screen.

3. Using the keypad, the user enters characters.   4. The user presses the Done key to accept the text and return to the form with the text box populated, or presses the Cancel key to delete all changes and return to the previous screen.
